Shrewsbury Osteopathic Clinic
Richard Mann B.Sc.(Hons.) B.Sc.(Ost.)
I am now in my 30th year of practice and so bring a wealth of experience to your consultation. My aim is to get you back on track as quickly as possible, setting aside a full hour for each consultation to get a more complete picture of the reason for your symptoms and plenty of time for treatment. I may show you exercises or give other advise to aid your improvement at home and during work.
Treatments
What I treat
I treat a wide range of muscular-skeletal conditions so please take a look at the What I treat page for common complaints. If you don't find your symptoms listed here, please call to talk about what you're experiencing and discuss whether I may be able to help.
How I treat
I use a combination of soft tissue techniques (different forms of stretching and massage) and articulation of joints, (moving these through their range) to restore quality of movement.
Your first treatment
If you're new to us or to osteopathy, you’ll find a summary of what to expect on your first visit. The General Osteopathic Council web pages also provide useful guidelines for patients. By law anyone calling themselves an osteopath must be registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOC).
